Wendy Walker – Managing Director
Wendy Walker has over 11 years of marketing and public relations experience in leading agencies such as Ogilvy & Mather and Publicis where she worked on a number of pan-European accounts including Renault, IBM and Seagram.
During her 4 years in Central Europe she played an instrumental role in the overseas development of Mmd Communications, a UK-based PR agency, opening agencies in Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Bucharest and Moscow. Her new business successes included British Airways, SAS, Intel, Compaq, Deloitte & Touche, Nestle and IDV.
In the beginning of 1998 WW established her own marketing consultancy, providing strategic advice to foreign companies wishing to enter Central Europe and now creates European marketing and PR campaigns for a number of UK clients including Go (the low cost airline), European Tourism Trade Fairs Association and ITE Travel Exhibitions. WW now conducts PR and marketing programmes for travel-related companies in both the UK, across Europe and internationally.
Katy Turner – Media Relations ConsultantKaty has worked with WW since 1991 and is involved with the media relations programme for ETTFA, Go and other clients in the travel industry. Her strengths are in media and public relations on the consumer side of the travel sector as well as dealing with the national daily newspapers, radio and TV.
