Mikulov, Czech Republic - is an exotic white town in the sunny south of the middle of Europe, a town at the foot of the white rocks of the Pavlovske hills that are thirty million years old.

The region of Mikulov is one of the oldest settlements in central Europe. Wherever a wayfarer's foot treads, it encounters the unprecedented fertility of nature and the peaceful life of our ancestors. But every place like this also bears witness to fights for survival, property, glory and power. This is where mammoth hunters found their home, leaving behind a unique testimony of immense value - the world-famous Venus of Vestonice. This region was formed by the outcome and conflicts of the Stone and Bronze Ages. Here, at the foot of the. Pavlovske hills of Jurassic limestone, the interests of the Roman Empire, Germans, Slavs and others conflicted.
